Lotawata has been a favorite eating spot for our construction team for several years. We travel thousands of miles each year and in all my travels I have not found a southern grill to match the quality of service or great taste of food as you have at Lotawata. Thanks for making my choice of restaurants simple. There are several restaurants in the area but only one like yours.

the first time that i had visited your resturant wa sthe day beofre i mouth surgery. the food was delicious. i had enough food to take home to feed my children. the second time that I attended your resturant was on my Birthday 12/28/2007 my family had never been there and they really enjoyed themsevles. They thought that it was going to be expensive but them thought wrong. I will be back to visit with my church groud ( the youth department) that you for hospitality. My wife, son, and I were visiting my daughter for her birthday this weekend and drove to O'Fallon for Friday night dinner. Based upon a recommendation from a St. Louis University student who grew up in the area, we chose Lotawata Restaurant. The food was exceptional and we had ample food left over to feed us for lunch the next day! Great service complimented the meal.

I love LataWata but unfortunately the other evening was terrible. We waited over an hour and NEVER got our food. Once we were ready to just leave the waitress was very snotty. It really didn't make for an enjoyable evening. I am really more disappointed than mad.....

I don't like to be negative in public but since your contact email doesn't work I have no choice. It is to your advantage that the food is good because when my order is wrong, again, after I repeated it on the phone twice and again when I picked it up it helps that it is good. At least this time it was just my lunch that I didn't have time to check because it took more time than was supposed to so as opposed to two other occassions when I treated others to what turned out to be surprises. Like I said, the food is good so they let it slide as well. But, please fix your contact mail box. It would improve your impression.

I saw your restaurant on news channel 5 and thought I would try the food. Friday night might not be the easiest time to get in but the wait was well worth it. Your food is better than it looks and the service was that of a $200 a plate restaurant. You should be proud of the awards and comments you continue to receive. Lotawata is the best in the west!

Since moving to Fairview Heights, we have enjoyed many "good" meals, but, Lotawata Creek Restaurant was by far, our BEST DINING experience. You can't go wrong with anything on the classics menu. I try to find time to dine at Lotawata Creek once or twice a month. Sensational food and drink with lots to eat but certainly not a lot to pay. The "Mayor" manages a staff of professionals!

Saturday, Feb. 23rd I called ahead to have my party of 11 put on the list. I told the owner that we were 45 minutes away and he said he would have us worked in then or maybe a few minutes later. Once there I told the girl that I called ahead and she went ahead and gave me a number. She said nothing about the computer prombems they were experiencing. After waiting 20 minutes we discovered that the computer system was down. We discovered this when two of the servers was talking about the situation. I then heard an employee tell the girls at the desk that they were closing. Not once was directly told this. The owner came out and asked the girls if they told the customers they were closing. They said they had not. I then went to discuss with the group our options. I then turned our pager in. They took it without an apology or any attempts to make good of the situation.

Wow! I never imagined food could taste this good! My in-laws took us to Lotawata Creek last week and I couldn't believe the food choices and was amazed as food traveled past our table. I recently was visiting St. Louis were my brother lives. He had been raving about this great place to eat that was better than our food at home. I kept telling him that it was hard to believe anything could be better than our Louisiana food. I was so wrong. I dream about your bourbon street tenderloin everyday. I even told my brother to go by and order me some right before he comes for Easter. I wish there was a Lotawata Creek near my home!

Wow! best food in the area and fast service. I had the Italian Meatloaf and found it every bit as good as my Dutch grandma can make. She had a restaurant in Italy and Spain for several years and her trademark was meatballs and meatloaf.

I have been to Fairview several times in the past but have not tried Lotawata Creek. As I often do before a trip from Arkansas to Fairview Heights, I looked up restaurants and did some reading and scanning of menus. I have been the most surprised by the favorable comments received and looking at your video. It is so true that one picture is worth one thousand words. The food looks delicious and the smiles on the ladies faces only goes to show how good the food must be. Looking forward to the February trip.

Lotawata Creek offers a unique atmosphere with exceptional food. The serving portions are huge, so ordering one meal allows you to take home snacks for two days. The prices are very reasonable too. The location is easy to find and a snap to get to either from the Mall, "crowded and gridlocked O'Fallon traffic, or off the interstate.

As a retired military member I have hours of free time to meet with friends and chat about the old days. Lotawata is a perfect place to meet friends and chat. If you go about 1430 hours you will find a free table without a wait and ample time to chat. Between the serving size and time, this is a win - win situation. I enjoy the Lotawata Burger and fries!

This is my favorite restaurant. The service is second to none and that goes for the food also. My favorite is a Prime Rib sandwich with baked-beans and broccoli. You can not find better for the money. Even many places that charge more do not have better food. ....and did I mention the fried pickles? yum....yum

The new site looks really great. I was looking forward to my return trip to Lotawata on Friday but ended up going on Tuesday. Best time was 2 pm. Fast service and I had the biggest burger ever. Each of the servers went out of their way to ensure my birthday was one to remember.

What a find! We arrived on Friday and found our new home was not ready to move into until Monday.
